We do not require or store login credentials linked to your personal identity. Registration is pseudonymous with usernames you choose.

We strip all metadata (such as GPS location, device information, timestamps) from photos and videos before storing or displaying them, ensuring your device and location privacy.

• Device type and operating system version (for app compatibility)
• IP address (only temporarily, for security and abuse prevention)

For alert relevance, we collect location data only when you explicitly enable location permissions.

Precise GPS location is never stored or shared; location data is blurred to protect your privacy.

• We retain User Content as company property according to our Terms of Service.
• Personal data (such as device identifiers, IP addresses, location data) is retained only as long as necessary for service operation and security.
• You may request deletion of all personal data linked to your account via the Data & Privacy Dashboard in the app.
• Upon such request, all personal data will be deleted, but User Content (incident reports, comments) will remain with ALERTZ as described in the Terms.

• We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
• Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel under strict confidentiality.
• We conduct regular security assessments and audits.

8. Your Privacy Rights

• You may access, correct, or delete your personal data via the app’s Data & Privacy Dashboard.
• If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to opt-out of data sales (though we do not sell data).
